    Hi
    Looking for a place to stay for August (3-4weeks). We have 2 small kids who aren’t totally destructive. Trying to save some kingo – open to house swapping ( my place in Calgary is about 45 min away from great cragging).
    Will be looking to boulder and crag as usual while in the koots.

    Seems like the ”Groups” function has been dropped, since the site make-over. If I look on My Account, I see the groups I joined maybe eight months or a year ago. But they do not seem to have had any activity in months. Plus, there is no main menu item for groups, and that would seem to leave new bloggers unaware that groups have existed.

    Due to the fact that I know a few people at Seed, I do have some idea who I might contact (by message or email) if I’ve got a tech question. But I don’t know what I’d do if I were a new blogger. The ”Blogger Support” group, for one, was a great idea, but…

      Hi Joel.

      We dropped the groups function for now but will bring them back in the community sites as the demand arises.

      I send out a personal message to all new bloggers, telling them about blog.inthekoots.com, a resource blog I maintain. Obviously more established bloggers such as yourself aren’t getting those messages.

      Thanks for drawing my attention to that.

    The play Blythe Spirit put on at the Capitol Theatre recently, Nov. 2011, had no microphones and the dialogue sometimes came out as though the actors were racing in the Indie 500. The Capitol Theatre acoustics are not made for recital without microphones, unless there is considerable projection of sound. Both theater companies and The Capitol Theatre need to keep this in mind.

    Hey everyone,
    Just moved to Nelson for some touring and general shredding this winter but it looks like mother nature might give us a bit more time to crank! Im leading like 11a bolted(poorly) and 5.9 trad. If anyone wants to go have a go at ”the date” on pulpit ill swing both ways for that one;) Or anything else around town or even Gimli! I have a car and a loose schedule.     I went bouldering behind our house today and was suprised to see that a bouldering pad that I had left hidden in a cave was gone. The bouldering is accessed off of the main trail leading to the big climbing cliffs in Pass Creek. If you hear anything about this then please let me know. Thanks.
