The Nelson Hospital Auxiliary has given $1,000 for a bursary for a graduating LVR student who intends to pursue further education in the medical field

The Kootenay Lake Hospital Gift Shop which is operated by the Nelson Chapter of the Kootenay Lake Hospital Auxiliary is full of great baby gifts.
