Hi fellow Bloggers,

I wanted to let you know that The Kootenay Network has asked me to help moderate this forum and I am pleased to do so.

As someone who has worked in the computer industry for years, I know how frustrating computer systems can be, particularly without guidance or support. Most of my experience is with network/server systems but I regularly have to learn new things so I can teach them to my clients so they can use them to be more efficient in their businesses. The constant cycle of learning is something I enjoy about my work and my favourite problems are ones that others have given up on.

I am a firm believer that the only stupid question is the one you did not ask. The vast majority of issues are caused by relatively simple things. If I cannot answer your question for you, I can direct you to someone who can or do some research about your issue and get back to you. I know how easy it is to feel frustrated and stumped.

As individuals, many of you likely have enough knowledge to pitch in and help others through this forum. Without realizing it you know more than you think and something you know well may be the missing piece in someone else’s puzzle. Questions asked by you and answered by others will help new and existing bloggers hone their craft

The Kootenay Network was formed to help unite our area, give us a way to learn new things from others and exchange information and ideas. This forum is no exception to that vision and I encourage you to jump in with your questions and suggestions.

They will help keep our Network strong.
